Myrtle likes herself some fancy root beer.
I usually get the Dog’s N’ Suds (my favorite), but I thought I’d try out a different one to see if it could kick The Pup’s ass.
So in this fight we have the returning champion, Dog’s N’ Suds, versus Berghoff.

I like this clip because you’re experiencing the sight and sound of Las Vegas in 1978.

I’m sick of everyone (a.k.a. Steve) shitting on L.A. all of the time.
So I thought I’d pick a historical site and go with it.
The Pan-Pacific Auditorium was a landmark structure in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles. It opened in 1935 and closed in 1972 – the new Convention Center in Downtown LA killed it. [...]

……why did you have to go away?
Myrtle loves Sambos.
Unfortunately, Myrtle is too young to actually remember going to a Sambos, although my mother insisted that we would go when I was a baby.

The first and last thing I saw when I came and went from my apartment was “909″ on the door in those cheap shitty brass letters.
I thought I had finally gotten away from that number.

I think I’m getting sick, but I hope it’s just allergies from the dust of moving shit at work.
So guess what? Myrtle is a SNOB now! Actually, I’ve always had a cultured intellectual side that I’ve always been embarrassed to show, but now it will be shown against my will. If you’re a loyal reader [...]

I need to get married ASAP.
Well, not ASAP. By 2010.
Hopefully on 09/09/09. Yes, I’m a 16 year old boy at heart.

A wonderful gal named Tanya has started the Modern Riverside web page and blog, and she’s doing what Myrtle’s been too lazy to do – draw attention to the wonderful modern architecture that lives here in the IE. I’ve contributed some pictures from my collection and I plan on taking some more pics for the [...]

While being up for 4 days straight due to insomnia, I was busy writing. A lot. I kind of went off on this one, but that’s what happens when you’re an insomniatic architecture snob.
Are you ready to talk about some shitty architecture?
I am.
There was an article in the Press Enterprise the other day about [...]

On January 18th, I will once again be making a weekend trip to The Big No, to visit a good friend of mine. And to go record shopping. I’m on the hunt for a specific album, and you know how us Music Snobs will travel to the ends of the earth for a certain record.
